Welcome to my online interior design portfolio

In 2008 I received a  Bachelors of Arts degree from San Diego State University in Fine Art with Emphasis in Interior Design.  Through my studies, internships, and design implementation, I have become knowledgable in many areas of design including color theory, art history, elements and principles of design, and environmental theory, as well as obtaining tangible skills in concept development, space planning, material selection,  hand drafting, computer aided drafting, perspective drawing, construction documentation, project specification compilation, hand rendering techniques, and design presentation.

My Take on Design

My passion for interiors stems from my passion for life, people, and nature.  While I practice and enjoy all design styles, my personal design style draws inspiration from geography, culture, and natural beauty.  I believe that interior spaces can and should be positive influences on the lives of the people that use them by designing comfortable, functional,  aesthetically pleasing spaces that utilize sustainable materials when plausible.  Please use the links at the left of this page to see some of my student work for residential, contract, and hospitality spaces as well as current projects.
